Glasgow Walk

A Photo Walk & Brutal Inspiration

There is a specific kind of energy you only find in Glasgow when you’re wandering with a camera in hand. On Friday, I met up with my friend Jim for a long-overdue photo walk, capturing the city’s character one frame at a time.

Between the shutter clicks, we made a stop at Street Level Photoworks to soak in some professional inspiration. We spent time with Marc Davenant’s Outsiders and Simon PhippsBrutal Scotland—two powerful, contrasting exhibitions that certainly coloured how I looked through the viewfinder for the rest of the afternoon.

Below are 20 images from our trek through the city, ranging from the grand architecture to the quiet, fleeting moments that make Glasgow unique.
